Catering Van

Firstly the good stuff!.. One clean & tidy mobile food outlet as approved by our local council authority.. Unit is based upon a 1987 ( index D*** DOT) LDV freight rover 2 litre petrol powered luton van which is on the button with tax & test.. Kitchen area is ceramic tiled from floor to ceiling. All worktops & storage shelves are stainless steel. Floor covering is regulation non-slip. Contents include :- LPG griddle, Lpg double gas ring, 240 volt fridge withfreezer compartment, microwave oven, Cordless electric kettle + small gas kettle, wash basin with pumped water supply, 240volt lighting, various utensils, waste bin, first aid kit, radio, Honda powered 5.5kw 240/110 volt generator, 2x 19kg lpg gas bottles (housed within the cab & one part full).. Now for some of the minus points!.. "Yes" the engine starts first time (thanks to a recent new battery) but it lacks performance! Needs plenty of choke & splutters untilwarmed up. In all honesty its a 'pig' to drive & progress is slow. I would recommend a thorough service (something its never received from me!).. "Yes" its taxed (september 09)& MOT'd but only until the begining of next month!.. Dont ask me what may be needed for a new test because I dont have a clue. Heater blower not working & wobbly rear view mirrors are a couple of other faults.. I have never driven the vehicle further than a few miles across town & quite honestly that was enougth for me!.. If you are still keen then remember that the van is located on the Kent coast (Folkestone) & its for you to collect. The price is £1500 cash on collection. Any questions?
