Catering van - used for ice cream and desserts

Genuine reason for sale, we have recently refurbished the back of the van to use as a mobile ice cream bar. Since then I’ve become a full time carer for my Mam following a stroke so can no longer work in the van or run it as a business.

It has massive potential and would be super popular for weddings/events/festivals etc.can also come with a mobile ice cream cart if wanted, which gives you the opportunity to run the business indoors and outdoors at any event.

The van was originally white when we purchased it and we’ve had it professionally painted blue, and updated the DVLA with the colour change.

We also had the same company cut in the hatch.

We took the van to Geist and had a £4,500 holdover freezer fitted, which has just been tested by a fridge engineer and topped up with gas so all working as new. Freezer has literally been turned on a couple of times to make sure everything was running correctly. Freezer is perfect for ice cream or storing chilled desserts. 

Kitchen units and worktops fitted giving plenty of storage. Pink cupboard doors with silver spoon handles and a black and white checkerboard floor give the van that quirky touch. Walls and floors all white ready for branding.

Brand new slush machine included.

Again this has only been turned on to test its working so still covered by warranty. The buyer would also get slush syrups, cups and straws to make around 900 slushes.

The van also comes with a fully fitted sink, which can provide hot and cold water.

The van has lights on the ceiling as well as disco lights and disco spotlights which are perfect for events. 

Van passed its MOT on 9 April 2022, so still has plenty of time until it’s next MOT.

It’s currently taxed and insured through a specialist catering company. Details of which can be passed on to the buyer if that would help.

We’ve had the cab professionally cleaned and valet. Some wear and tear to the floor in the van near the pedals, which is to be expected but doesn’t affect the vans performance at all.

Couple of minor things need doing on the van which we had planned on doing over time, a little crack in the bumper which we would have replaced eventually, and a curled piece of trim on the passenger side. Nothing major at all, mainly cosmetic and the van could be used with no problems at all without doing any of those repairs.
